‘GOP Rebellion’ on Benghazi, 108 Cosponsors            Dear Member:  We have struck a nerve on Capitol Hill.  The influential Hill newspaper credits Revive America for creating a “GOP Rebellion” against Speaker Boehner’s handling of Benghazi. Here is what The Hill reported about Revive today: “But the idea [of a Benghazi Committee] is gaining traction among the Republican grass roots: Members of conservative groups such as Revive America have been flooding lawmakers’ phone lines” (Boehner’s Hand Forced on Benghazi, 4/17). Yes, we have. Thanks to your overwhelming support! But we need to double-down with even more phone calls. It is urgent for you to continue to call House Republicans who are NOT cosponsors of House Resolution 36.  Click Here for the Phone List  Here is the very latest news: Currently, 108 House Republicans are cosponsors, up six from yesterday.  In fact, I met with Congressman Phil Roe of Tennessee this morning.  He has agreed to cosponsor too. Many more House Republicans will cosponsor.  But we need to call them. Charles Woods, who is the father of Navy Seal Tyrone Woods, will join Rep. Frank Wolf for a press conference on Benghazi later today.  Tyrone Woods, of course, is one of the four Americans who died in the Benghazi attack last year.  The mother of Navy Seal Sean Smith endorsed the House Select Committee on Benghazi last week. According to The Hill, Speaker Boehner is “trying to head off a GOP rebellion”.  He plans to issue an interim Benghazi report next week. This is totally unacceptable. No backing-down, no backing-off. Seven months is long enough. It's time for Speaker Boehner to appoint a House Select Committee on the Benghazi terror attack.  Please continue to support Revive America's campaign on Benghazi.
