The arrogance of this White House truly knows no bounds. Amid the unraveling of ObamaCare, White House press secretary Jay Carney actually had the audacity to call critics "willfully ignorant." Willfully ignorant! What does that imply? That is implies that people who are critical of the law are deliberately uneducated or lacking awareness in their critique. Quite the opposite! I would say that those of us who have chronicled the pitfalls of ObamaCare are perhaps even MORE aware of what the law says and how it is effecting businesses, individuals and our economy in the real world. It is the Obama administration, and some Democrats, who continue to live in the false-reality created by Nancy Pelosi: "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it." What's clear is that ObamaCare was so large and so incomprehensible that it wasn't just the public who would find out what's in it...apparently the politicians who passed it were equally as unaware of its contents! How else can you now explain the back peddling from Democrats like Tom Harkin, Jay Rockefeller, John Barrow, Max Baucus, and Dick Durbin? The fact is that the law is panning out exactly as it was wr itten: It was designed to fail...( more) Dumb And Dumber We do a lot of really dumb things as a nation, but this has to be one of the dumbest. Egypt is in chaos right now, and the Obama administration has yet to admit that a military coup has taken place. Yet the United States is going to go ahead with plans to give Egypt four F-16 fighter jets in the coming weeks! Here's a question I want you to consider: Amidst this chaos, who is going to be receiving these jets? How can we be absolutely certain that these jets won't fall into the wrong hands, potentially the hands of a terrorist organization like the Muslim Brotherhood? The answer is that we can't be certain, and yet we are going to do it anyway. We've already sent eight F-16s to Egypt earlier this year, and we are expected to ship eight more later this year. This is in addition to the 200 Abrams tanks we've already given them, not to mention the $1.6 billion in aid. I don't see the purpose in sending F-16s at this time if we can't even be certain who will be u tilizing them. |
GOP Takes A Stand Republicans in Washington finally seem to be getting the hint: Americans don't trust big government and are therefore weary of big government solutions. We can see this momentum shifting in Washington in a few different ways. Yesterday I told you that Republicans in the House were meeting to discuss the future of immigration reform. They decided that a giant, comprehensive approach to immigration reform was not the answer. A statement from the GOP leadership reads...( more) Today's "Hot Topic" On The Hannity Forums: Wal*Mart Balks at D.C. Wage Hike - sueton There's a bill scheduled for a vote in D.C mandating companies making more than $1 billion annually pay their workers a minimum wage of $12.50 (up from $8.25). Wal-Mart has planned three new stores in the area that would create 1,800 jobs, but are saying they won't go through with them if the bill is passed. The mayor has hinted that he may veto the bill in order to prevent this. I'm just interested to hear what you folks think about this? IT LOOKS GRIM FOR ZIMMERMAN . THIS MY FRIENDS IS NOT JUSTICE........ |
