Political Train Wreck
The author of Obamacare, Max Baucus, referred to Obamacare as an
oncoming train wreck. Little did he know that the law's failure would
take such a
toll on politicians at the polls. This is a political train wreck of
epic proportions, especially for Barack Obama.
The latest polling from CBS
shows that Obama and Obamacare have set new records: both are enjoying
the lowest approval ratings to date. For Barack Obama, only 37%
currently
approve of his handling of the presidency. That has dropped nine points
in just one month! That coincides with approval of Obamacare dropping to
its lowest level ever of just 31%. That is a twelve point drop since
last month! Support for the law is sinking all-around, even among
Democrats.
This is dangerous political territory for this president. This isn't
just one poll that looks bad for Obama. We've now seen a series of polls
from
Gallup to ABC/Washington Post to CBS to Fox News, all of these are
showing the same trend: support for Obamacare is tanking and dragging
down the
president along with it.
Unfortunately for Obama, the Democrats and the American people, I don't
see things getting much better. Coupled with the disastrous failure of
the
website is the revelation that we've been lied to by Obama and fellow
Democrats who passed the law. "If you like your healthcare plan, you can
keep your healthcare plan" may go down as one of the biggest, bold-faced
lies we've been told by politicians. That's saying a lot.
What's even more amazing is that Barack Obama apparently thinks that the
problem is still with the "branding" of Obamacare and not the law
itself.
He said yesterday,
"We are going to have to, (a) fix the website so everybody feels
confident about that. We're going to have to, obviously, re-market and
re-brand,
and that will be challenging in this political environment." This is
what I told you about yesterday - Democrats have received their marching
orders: No longer use the word "Obamacare" and only refer to the law as
the "Affordable Care Act." This is their grand solution to our
problems?
Good grief.

Life Inside The Bubble
Sean invited Dan Bongino, former Secret Service agent and Congressional
candidate in Maryland's 6th District to todays' program to discuss his
new
book, "Life Inside the Bubble:
Why a Top-Ranked Secret Service Agent Walked Away from It All."
Dan has been a great friend to both the radio and TV show, he has served
his country as a secret service agent for 12 years with both George W.
Bush and President Obama. Bongino left the secret service to the
champion the truth; something that no one else in government seems to be
able to
do. Bongino's book is an intimate look at life inside the presidential
"bubble," a haze of staffers, consultants, cronies, acolytes,
bureaucrats
and lobbyists that creates the "alternate reality" in which monumental
policy decisions are made. It is the story of a dedicated Secret
Service
professional who, after years inside the "bubble," walked away in favor
of sounding a clarion call to the American people in defense of sane
government and the U.S. Constitution. For more on Dan Bongino's book,

Today's "Hot Topic" On The Hannity Forums:
Where is your line in the sane? -
unaffiliated
A post in another thread made me think this would make an interesting
conversation.
Where is your line in the sand for government in your personal life?
I think the most effective way to determine this is to ask ourselves,
what is the most intrusive government involvement that is OK with you?
Even
if you don't like it but view it as necessary.
I have to think about mine for a bit but, I'll put one in here after my
webinar.
