Hannity's Headlines E-Newsletter
Encroaching On Our Liberties "Does the Obama administration just wake up in the morning and think about ways they can encroach on our Bill of Rights?" guest host Dan Bongino asked rhetorically kicking off Thursday's show.  "Seriously, Obama has taken a baseball bat to our liberties." The latest effort by the "Anointed One" to limit our freedoms is a plan that would get "researchers" into newsrooms across the country to "identify and understand the critical information needs of the American public, with special emphasis on vulnerable-disadvantaged populations," according to the FCC. One FCC commissioner, Ajit Pai, said in an op-ed piece appearing in today's Wall Street Journal, that this so called study might limit the freedom of the press.  "The American people, for their part, disagree about what they want to watch," wrote Pai, appointed to the FCC's five-member commission in May 2012 by President Obama. "But everyone should agree on this: The government has no place pressuring media organizations into covering certain stories." Frequent Hannity Show guest and Chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, Jay Sekulow, said the study "Is an extremely troubling and dangerous development that represents the latest in an ongoing assault on the Constitution by the Obama administration.  The federal government has no place attempting to control the media, using the unconstitutional actions of repressive regimes to squelch free speech."

ObamaCare Needs a New Strategy
Karl Rove wrote a great piece today on how Democrats are clamoring to run as far away from ObamaCare as possible.  Politico.com obtained full proof that Democrat strategists are recommending that candidates now discuss repealing ObamaCare as a "waste of time" and to attack Republicans as "wanting to go back to the bad-old days."  As we gear up for 2014 elections, the discussion over ObamaCare will be front and center in the discussion.  Rove's suggestions were clear and a great warning for those who're paying attention.  It's not enough for Republicans to criticize ObamaCare, they should deliver real solutions to highlight the reality Americans do want affordable health care but that they realize that won't come from Washington.  Anyone interested in learning about some real solutions should check out my Conservative Solutions Caucus 2014 page, I've been talking about this for months!

On The Lighter Side
I wanted to take just a moment to thank my friend Terry Fator for stopping by the show.  We get caught up in all of the seriousness of the battles we're fighting to defend America's future that it's refreshing to take a moment and laugh.  I want to wish Terry the very best as he starts off on his new tour!  Take a look at this quick video we shot of Terry's visit including a great rendition of Elton John!
