Harry Reid in Hot Water
Senator Harry Reid is in hot water over using campaign funds to buy
gifts for donors, and the gifts were bought from Reid's granddaughter.
Reid now says he will pay back the $31,000 he used in campaign money to
buy gifts from a store owned by his very own granddaughter. Reid now
says that "enough is enough" when it comes to the targeting of his granddaughter over this situation.
While the liberal media loves to pounce on Republicans when they run
afoul of campaign finance rules, the same can't be said for Democrats
like Harry Reid. While this latest story broke on Wednesday of this
week, the latest searches by Newsbusters
come up empty when it comes to coverage of this issue by the Big Three
networks and the official pages of the New York Times and the Washington
Post.
What's even more incredible is the fact that this is not the first time
Harry Reid has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. I urge you
to read this in-depth piece
by Matthew Continetti at the Washington Free Beacon. He explains the
corrupt history of how politicians (Harry Reid) in Washington work the
system to gain favor for their relatives and donors. It's this type of
behavior that have people disgusted with Washington. It's not just
exclusive to Harry Reid, but he is a glaring example that the mainstream
media is reluctant to cover. |

culminated in the annexation of Crimea by Russia. Since then, Russia has
been amassing troops at the border of Ukraine and Obama has finally
decided to talk tough.
The number of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border varies depending on
who you ask. United States officials estimate 40,000 but a top
Ukrainian defense official says
it's closer to 100,000. Russia's excuse is that it is conducting
military exercises. If anyone actually believes that, I have a bridge to
sell you...(continued)
