Terrorism Strikes Israeli Synagogue
Four Israelis have tragically been killed by Palestinian terrorists while worshipping in their synagogue in West Jerusalem. According to a report in the Daily Mail,
"The assailants, named as cousins Uday and Rassan Abu Jamal, both in
their 20s, burst in to the synagogue just before 7am screaming 'God is
great' as up to 30 worshippers gathered for prayers. The fanatics used
hand guns, axes and cleavers as they rampaged through the building,
sending those inside running for their lives."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to the attack,
calling it a "cruel murder of Jews who came to pray and were killed by
despicable murderers." U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called this an
"act of pure terror."
News of this horrific attack comes as a new report is being released
related to terrorism. An independent study by the Institute for
Economics and Peace finds that deaths related to terrorism rose 60% last
year.
The New York Times
reports, "Four groups - the Islamic State, Boko Haram in Nigeria and
the Taliban, which is active in both Pakistan and Afghanistan - took
credit for two-thirds of worldwide deaths related to terrorism in 2013,
the report said, describing radical variants of Islam as 'the key
commonality for all four groups.'"
So two-thirds of terrorism taking place around the world is linked to
radical Islam, according to this report. When is America and the West
going to realize that radical Islam is at war with us? You know who
understands that better than any country is Israel. They are paying the
unfortunate price for our inability to recognize this problem. |

Holding Gruber Accountable
Should ObamaCare architect and MIT professor Jonathan Gruber be forced
to testify under oath? It's time to get some answers about ObamaCare.
For too long on too many issues, this administration has managed to
escape being held truly accountable.
Adding to the outrage are these comments that continue to surface of MIT
professor and ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber. He admits that
obfuscation was used in order to get ObamaCare passed, banking on the
lack of transparency and stupidity of the American people.
Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and others have desperately tried to keep
their distance from Gruber's remarks, claiming that they didn't know
him. I've given you some examples of how this simply isn't the case: He
was paid millions of the administration for his work, he met with Obama
in the White House and has been quoted by several Democrats, including
Obama himself.
In fact, in 2006 Obama admitted that he stole many of his health care ideas from Gruber.
And former White House official Steve Rattner referred to Gruber as "The Man" putting ObamaCare together. Even MSNBC
thinks that the Democrats are embarrassing themselves by pretending to
not know Gruber. We sent David Webb to try and talk with Jonathan
Gruber. Here's how that turned out ... |
