Hillary: Authentically Fake
The Hillary campaign is going to great lengths to make her appear to be a
woman of the people, even if it means staging her authenticity.
Even in Hillary's announcement video featuring “everyday Americans,” it
turns out that these people weren't so “everyday.” According to the UK
Daily Mail, Hillary's video featured Democratic Party ringers, including
campaign managers.
Her first attempt at trying to relate to everyday Americans misses the mark.
Then there's her Scooby-doo van tour. Her attempt to use a van as a
source of relatability sort of falls flat when it is a Secret Service
van, outfitted with a flat-screen TV, heated leather seats and a bed.
Even the Washington Post, in an overall glowing column, recognizes that
it's difficult for Hillary to rebrand herself as an everyday person
when she hasn't been a regular person in a very, very long time.
There's no amount of humility – as David Axelrod suggests – or
fabricated authenticity that will make Hillary anything other than a
prisoner of yesterday's political elite. Even with all her strategists
and pollsters, the American people can't be foolish enough to suddenly
fall for this new brand of Hillary Clinton.
Because at the end
of the day, Hillary can't escape her scandal-ridden past. For example,
today we learned that Congressional investigators initially asked
Clinton about her use of personal email as far back as 2012. She simply
ignored the question! Didn't she once claim to be the most transparent
person in public life?
If the American people turn out to be fickle enough to believe the
new, “folksy” brand of Hillary, then they will get the government that
they deserve, which will be a watered-down version of Obama's last eight
years. Look at all the good that has done for America. |

ISIS on the Border
This is perhaps the scariest news you will hear all week. ISIS has
established a camp just 8 miles from the American southern border.
According to a report from Judicial Watch:
ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas,
according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field
grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector …
During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and
federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and
Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military
installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim
prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.
What are you going to do about that President Obama? Pretty scary stuff.
I've said it before, and I will continue to say it now: we need to secure our borders. |
