It's Time for Congress to Stop the Iran Deal Now
The Washington Free Beacon reported
earlier this month that-according to a government report-Iran has been
spending billions of dollars to "fund the salaries of terrorist fighters
across the Middle East, including in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza
Strip."
The Congressional Research Service report, conducted for Sen. Mark Kirk
(R-IL) concludes that Iran's defense budget ranges from $14 to $30
billion a year, "with much of that money going to fund terrorist proxy
groups and rebel fighters in a number of countries."
The government report also notes that Iran helped establish many of the militias that fought the U.S. in Iraq from 2003-2011.
Our own National Intelligence director, James Clapper, once called Iran the "foremost state sponsor of terrorism."
It's time Congress stops the Iran deal now. |

You've Got Mail...
If there is one lesson in politics that Hillary Clinton taught the world
it's to apologize quickly, take your lumps and make sure the story goes
away. Hillary has been trying to do just that. Though initially the
former secretary of state seemed to ignore the scandal, she eventually
explained that she wanted to have her own email account so she didn't
have to carry two devices - one for home and one for work.
Clinton and the State Department have turned over thousands of pages of
emails to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, a committee formed to
investigate her role in managing the events leading up to the attack on
the US Embassy there while she was Secretary of State. This scandal has
been going on since March.
Now, in perhaps the most crippling blow, the FBI has found even more emails,
many of which have not been released to the House Select Committee on
Benghazi. With Clinton expected to testify later this month and more
damaging emails coming out to freshen this scandal, Vice President Joe
Biden appears to be warming up to take her place in the 2016 Presidential Race, while Clinton is left hoping this scandal will just go away. |
