Iran has "No Intention" of Abiding to Resolution
As to be expected, the Washington Free Beacon reported
yesterday that, "multiple senior Iranian officials have vowed in recent
weeks to violate the recently inked nuclear accord that aims to
constrain the Islamic Republic's contested nuclear enrichment program,
according to multiple comments by top Iranian leaders."
Iranian leaders-including President Hassan Rouhani-have said that Iran
has "no intention" of abiding by a UN Security Council resolution that
addresses the Iran deal and restricts Iran's rogue activities.
The Free Beacon goes on to report that Iran's foreign minister said that
the nation "can violate U.N. measures without repercussions."
Donald Trump sure was right when he said that America is run by stupid people. |

Second Debate Results Trickle In
It is always dangerous to judge the relative success or failure of a
presidential candidacy by polling numbers. Between sample size,
delivery of questions and overall timing, polls can be (at best) a
snapshot in time. When CNN came out last week with their poll showing Carly Fiorina in second place after her debate performance, it was merely something to keep an eye on. A recent Fox News poll has Trump with a near double-digit lead
with Ben Carson in hot pursuit. Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz and Marco
Rubio are all within striking distance but still trailing by 19 or more
points behind Donald Trump.
WATCH: Why Hillary no longer has a lock on Democratic nomination
What does this all mean? If you take the average polling numbers
you'll find that the truth is likely somewhere in the middle. Carly
Fiorina did better than expected in the second debate and has certainly
solidified her presence in the campaign. Dr. Carson and Trump remain
the go-to candidates and Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz performed well enough
to gain modest footholds. Who didn't fair so well? Jeb Bush is at the
lowest point yet and needs to do what he can to revive his seemingly
stagnant campaign.
If we needed to anoint a winner after the second debate it would be hard
not to choose Carly Fiorina. It would be much more of a challenge to
find a loser in the debate. Governor Scott Walker may have been the
debate's big casualty but there are many more whose campaigns have
suffered. |
