Baby boy born in Brooklyn is New York City's first of 2016

The City's public health system welcomed its first baby of 2016 this morning at exactly midnight at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island in Brooklyn. Zayden Noel was born to mother Diaz Stephanie (pictured). This is the second child she's had at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island. Mother and baby are doing well. The baby boy, Zayden Noel, weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. It’s a boy! New York City’s first baby of 2016 was born in Brooklyn exactly at the stroke of midnight Friday, authorities said.
