Calif. mom who buried newborn alive gets 14 years prison

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Special Victims Bureau, is looking for information on a newborn baby girl that was buried alive near a riverbed in Compton, Calif. The newborn, believed to have been born within 36 to 48 hours of abandonment, were buried under pieces of asphalt and rubble along a bike path. Porche Washington was sentenced Wednesday after pleading no contest to attempted murder and causing great bodily injury to the infant.
