Armed robbery suspects rough up parents in front of young child during Bronx robbery

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached video in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct. Details are as follows: It was reported to police that on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at 2240 hours inside of 1711 Morris Avenue, two individuals followed the 43-year-old male victim to his apartment and forced their way inside after he unlocked the door. One individual displayed a firearm while the other individual displayed a knife, and they demanded money and jewelry. The individuals then used physical force against the victim and his 28-year-old wife, as their 4-year-old son was present. The individuals removed an Ottoman, cell phones, jewelry and cash and fled the location in a black Acura TL with a NY license plate. The victims were not seriously injured. The first individual is described as a male Black, with a dark complexion, approximately 6'00" tall and 200 pounds, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a firearm. The second individual is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 6'00" tall , with a light complexion, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and armed with a knife. Surveillance video of the individuals from the incident location is attached and available at DCPI. A pair of armed robbers roughed up a Bronx couple in front of their 4-year-old son after barging into their Bronx apartment, cops said.
