Sanders Crowd Boos The Democrat Party In Election Night Rally
The fissures within the Democratic Party continue to run deep.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders scored a decisive victory in the state of
Oregon on Tuesday, defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
by close to 10-points. In the state of Kentucky, Clinton maintains a
razor thin lead over Senator Sanders, although that race has still yet
to be called. Even if Sanders loses, the two will split the state's 55
delegates.
WATCH: Bernie Sanders supporters boo the Democratic Party
Sanders' recent string of victories has led many of his supporters to
claim that the Democratic Party is actively stealing the election from
the socialist senator. At an election night rally on Tuesday, a crowd of
supporters made their displeasure known, loudly booing when Sanders
mentioned "the Democratic Party."
"Let me also say a word to the leadership of the Democratic Party,"
Sanders said to a chorus of boos. "The Democratic Party is going to have
to make a very profound and important decision." |

"There are some areas that the federal government should not leave and
should address and address strongly," Clinton said in the 1996 address.
"One of these areas is the problem of illegal immigration. After years
of neglect, this administration has taken a strong stand to stiffen the
protection of our borders. We are increasing border controls by 50
percent. We are increasing inspections to prevent the hiring of illegal
immigrants. And tonight, I announce I will sign an executive order to
deny federal contracts to businesses that hire illegal immigrants"...(continue reading) |
