Trump Takes The Lead In Key Swing States
GOP
presumptive nominee Donald Trump has surged into the lead in the key
swing states of Florida and Pennsylvania, according to a new poll by
Quinnipiac University. Trump's lead represents a reversal of fortune in
both states, where Clinton has led in polls in prior months.
In Florida, Sunshine State voters prefer Trump by a margin of three
points, 42%-39%. That's a major reversal from last month, where the
Quinnipiac University poll had Clinton leading Trump by an eight-point
margin, 47%-39%.
In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Trump now leads Clinton by a margin
of two points, 43%-41%. In the same poll last month, Clinton led Trump
42%-41%. No Republican has won the state of Pennsylvania since 1988,
when George H.W. Bush defeated Michael Dukakis.
In addition to Florida and Pennsylvania, the candidates remain tied in
the all important state of Ohio. Each candidate has the support of 41%
of Buckeye state voters.
When third party candidates, including Jill Stein of the Green Party and
Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party, are added into the mix, Donald

men randomly assailed a white commuter on a train in Maryland has
sparked outrage as well as a police investigation.
