BREAKING: Trump Chooses His Secretary Of Education According to the Trump transition team, the President-elect will nominate school-choice activist Betsy DeVos as his Secretary of Education.

DeVos is the chairwoman of American Federation for Children which, according to the organization's website seeks "to improve our nation's K-12 education by advancing systemic and sustainable public policy that empowers parents, particularly those in low-income families, to choose the education they determine is best for their children."

DeVos is the second cabinet-level position Trump has announced on Wednesday. Earlier, it was announced that South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley would serve as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations in the Trump administration.
