Deadly fire breaks out at California warehouse party

 Overbye was a Danish serial killer who lived from 1887-1929. She murdered as many as 25 children between 1913 and 1920. In 1921, she was sentenced to death in one of the most notable trials in Danish history, a case which led to legislative changes on child care in Denmark. Her sentence was later commuted to life in prison. Her methods of choice included strangulation, drowning and burning in a masonry heater. Overbye would then cremate, bury or hide the corpses -- the bodies of children born out of wedlock and placed in her care. She died at age 42 in a Danish prison.
