Tortured Brooklyn boy's dad seeks $30G for funeral, hospital bills days after what would have been son's birthday

 On Sunday November 27, 2016, at approximately 1856 hours, police responded to 163-72 Mathias Avenue, confines of the 113 Precinct, in response to a 911 call of 2 people shot at the location. Inside the home, officers found an unconscious and unresponsive 58 year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and a 52 year-old female with a gunshot wound to her left shoulder. EMS also responded and removed both victims to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition. The preliminary investigation determined that two individuals pushed their way inside the home and shot both victims. The individuals then fled the home, one eastbound on Mathias Avenue and the other westbound. The individuals are described as two male blacks, 20 to 30 years old, with black hooded sweaters and blue jeans. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing. ********* UPDATE TP 11/29/16********************************* Pursuant to an ongoing investigation with regards to the above assault, the New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance identifying the vehicle depicted in the attached surveillance video. The vehicle is a light colored 2011-2015 Hyundai Elantra.
