PHOTOS: Russia's Ambassador To Turkey Shot In Ankara Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov was fatally shot while visiting a an art exhibition in Ankara on Monday, according to reports. Russian News Agency RIA has confirmed Karlov has succumbed to his wounds. According to reports from the AFP, witnesses claim the attacker screamed "Aleppo" and "Revenge", a clear allusion to the war-torn city in Syria.
