( on spec ) Queens firefighters rescued a woman from the second floor of a burning home at 69-77 180 Street in Fresh Meadows. The blaze broke out shortly after 9:30PM and spread from the first floor to the second floor where the woman was found. She was removed to the street as firefighters attempted to resusitate her before turning her over to medics at the scene. The male homeowner was also taken to the hospital for evaluation. The judge lowered the maximum sentence citing the hardship on Locane-Bovenizer's two children. One has a medical and mental disability.
