Pauli Murray, the pioneering African American legal scholar and organizer for racial and gender equality is being celebrated with the premier of a new documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.

We spoke with Rev. Dr. Raphael Warnock in 2020 about the voting rights legacy of Rep. John Lewis. Warnock was with Lewis in the final days of his life and presided over his memorial service.

Jacob Blake’s father says the police shooting of his son, and killings of Black people, reveal there are “two systems of justice” in the United States, and asks, “Why are our children scared to death of people that are supposed to protect and serve them?”

“What our family wants is the officer that tried to murder my son brought up on charges,” says Jacob Blake’s father of the police shooting of his son in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The National Guard has mobilized ahead of the announcement of possible charges.
