Senate Amnesty Bill Raises National Security Concerns
Driving along BorderJust days after its introduction, the Senate Gang of Eight's amnesty bill is already raising national security concerns. The bill would legalize approximately 12 million illegal aliens through a process that protects them at every turn and makes it harder for DHS to detain or remove them.

Senate Bill Contains Slush Fund for Pro-Amnesty Groups
Illegal Border CrossingBuried within the Gang of Eight's 844-page bill is a boon to the pro-amnesty and immigration lawyer lobbies that grants DHS the discretionary authority to award newly-created "Initial Entry, Adjustment, and Citizenship Assistance" grants to "eligible public or private, non-profit organizations."

NC House Introduces Conflicting Omnibus Immigration Bill
NC FlagEarlier this month, the North Carolina House introduced an omnibus immigration bill entitled the RECLAIM NC Act. Although the bill contains several good provisions that strengthen North Carolina law, there are other provisions in the bill that will only make North Carolina more desirable to illegal aliens.
