Congressman Paul Ryan joined Sean on the NewsMaker Hotline to discuss his budget and the proposal that passed this year from the Senate. Ryan explained that with the massive amount of people on the government dole and more people than ever before in our history on food stamps, it's obvious that we need to make more strides to provide economic policy that really works. Sean and Ryan discussed states like North Dakota, that have a booming economy and low unemployment because Harold Hamm is developing natural resources and putting people back to work. He is drilling for oil and natural gas on our soil, with our people and improving the local economy there. Ryan also explained that we need to reverse, repeal or delay much of the imposed ObamaCare legislation that has been shoved down the American people's throats. Sean told Ryan that a big part of why people are so disenchanted with the Republican party is the party's inability to maintain a mantra and portray that not just in words but in actions. Ryan agrees to take this feedback to his party and promised to keep up the good fight against propaganda and wasteful spending. For more on Washington's budget, visit my reaction on Hannity.com. Pat Smith I've spent some time with Pat Smith, the mother of Marine Sean Smith who was killed in Benghazi. With all the trouble and mistreatment the Smith family has gone through, we continue to struggle to find answers to what happened. The new congressional report was recently released giving us more details on the terrorist attack in Benghazi which led to the death of four brave Americans. All-in-all, it doesn't look good for Secretary Clinton or the Obama administration. The report confirms, "The U.S. government immediately had information that the attacks were conducted by Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists, yet Administration officials downplayed those connections, and focused on the idea that provocation for violence resulted from a YouTube video." During a hearing in the House Foreign Affairs Committee on January 23, 2013, Hillary Clinton stated that she was personally unaware of requests for extra security in Benghazi. ObamaCare Costs More, Covers Less Surprise! Obama Care is turning out to be the expensive disaster that conservatives predicted. Unless Republicans are committed in their efforts to repeal Obama Care, it is you, the hard-working taxpayers, who will ultimately bear the burden of these costs, along with declining quality of care. Such is always the result of a socialist utopia. There is a reason why Nancy Pelosi famously said that we needed to pass the bill in order to find out what's in it. That's what she told to swaths of uninformed voters, who were blinded by the idea of cheaper, universal healthcare for all. But for those of us who studied the bill and are stewards of history, we knew how this was going to play out. It was exactly like this. Here are some of the more outrageous highlights of the latest we've come to learn about Obama Care [ continue reading].
