Turning On ObamaCare
When Obama and the Democrats lose the labor unions, you know something has gone terribly wrong. When it comes to ObamaCare, labor unions were among the most fervent supporters of the legislation. They essentially helped to craft the legislation and then promptly received waivers to protect their Cadillac health plans. Remember that? Well now the labor unions are unhappy. Looking at the realities of how the law will effect their workers, the heads of three major unions - the Teamsters, the United Food and Commercial Workers, and UNITE-HERE - have written a letter to Democrat leaders complaining about the effects of ObamaCare. The letter was addressed to Harry Reid and Nancy "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it" Pelosi. The letter reads in part... ( more)

IRS Outrage Continues
The outrage surrounding the IRS continues. We have come to learn that government officials improperly scrutinized the tax records of political candidates and campaign donors. For the first time, the Treasury Department has admitted the breach of confidential tax records. Inspector General J. Russell George - a familiar name to us by now - told Republican Senator Chuck Grassley that a review found four cases since 2006 where government officials accessed or disclosed tax records of political candidates or donors. Mr. George described one case as "willful." Mr. George also disclosed to Senator Grassley that investigators are also looking into two allegations of IRS agents targeting political candidates for audits. Which candidates were targeted and which government officials and employees were involved in the targeting has yet to be disclosed. What's worse is that our Justice Department has chosen not to prosecute any of these cases. Perhaps Eric Holder is too busy o rganizing rallies in Florida, rather than prosecute such egregious violations of privacy and trust.
Shut It Down, Mr. President
Pat Buchanan, author of Suicide of a Superpower, joined Sean and expressed his anger about the President and attorney general Eric Holder's involvement in the Zimmerman verdict. Buchanan writes on TownHall that Obama should now exhibit a little moral courage of his own. "Obama should tell his Justice Department to halt this scavenger hunt for a "hate crime." If Sanford police and the FBI could not find a hate crime, and the prosecution could not prove racial profiling or malice, what reason is there to believe any such motive ever existed? If Barack Obama and Eric Holder capitulate to Al Sharpton's demand for "Plan B" and the NAACP's demand for a second trial of George Zimmerman for a crime of which he has been acquitted, most Americans will come to believe this is no search for justice, but a drive for racial retribution and revenge. And they will be right. End this persecution of George Zimmerman, Mr. President. Shut it down. To read Buchanan's entire article on TownHall, please click here.

Senate Reaches deal that will avert the nuclear option for the time being - Safiel
It came down literally to the wire and took a 3 1/2 hour meeting with 98 of 100 Senators packed into the Old Senate Chamber for a closed door joint caucus. But the nuclear option, for the time being, has been averted.
