Phantom Ships Carry Untold Sum of Investment Wisdom

A $300-Million Tech Disaster

We had it all wrong...

Regarding the Affordable Care Act, President Obama's worst enemies aren't actually the Republicans or the Tea Party.

His nemesis is technology.

Specifically, the glitches that have plagued the sloppy Healthcare.gov website.

Of all the abysmal websites I've seen, this one ranks pretty high.

Signing up is difficult at best. And unfortunately, for most people, it's been impossible.

Moreover, the customer "service" is laughable.

It's difficult to say exactly how much money the government has poured into the Healthcare.gov website for the contractors, design and technology. But Government Accountability Office research says it's over $300 million.

Makes you wonder where the money went, doesn't it?

Well, I'll tell you...

The bulk of it went to four companies, which were sheepishly hauled in front of lawmakers last Thursday to explain the reasons for their technological incompetence.
