Russia Absorbs Crimea
Russia's annexation of Crimea is closer to completion. Today
Vladimir Putin has signed a treaty with Crimean officials to officially
incorporate Crimea into Russia. Ukrainian officials say the treaty is
illegal. While it still has to pass the Russian assembly, the
annexation is all-but complete and should be official as soon as the
week's end. In a statement the Russian parliament, Putin made the following statement
: "Our Western partners headed by the United States prefer not to be
guided by international law in their practical policies, but by the
rule of the gun. They have come to believe in their exceptionalism and
their sense of being the chosen ones. That they can decide the destinies
of the world, that it is only them who can be right." It's amazing that
Putin is lecturing America on the world stage about the rule of law and
American exceptionalism. Russia's reaction to our sanctions is also
embarrassing. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin tweeted
that a "prankster" must have come up with the sanctions list.
Addressing "comrade @BarackObama" directly, he asks, "what should do
those who have neither accounts nor property abroad? Or U didn't think
about it?" Russia's response, by the way, has been to ban certain U.S.
Senators from visiting Russia, according to the Daily Beast. I have to say, it doesn't appear Russia is taking us seriously, at all.
Is This Hope and Change? More New Yorkers than ever are turning to outside sources to feed their families.
According to New York Daily News
, "Nearly one in five New Yorkers, 1.4 million people, now rely on a
patchwork network of 1,000 food pantries and soup kitchens across the
city to eat. That represents an increase of 200,000 people in five years
- straining the charities that are trying to help." The number of New
York City residents receiving food stamps has also soared by half a
million. When Barack Obama
promised Americans hope and change, is this really what he had in mind?
Poverty is up, food stamp participation is up, families and children
are going hungry, inflation and the cost of food is up, wages are
stagnant, hiring is minimal. Obama has been in office for six years and
has failed to achieve a
successful economic recovery. His liberal policies are making it
harder and harder for Americans to make ends meet. |

ObamaCare's Failed Promises
The Obama administration has two problems. The first problem is that a
vast majority of Americans are unfamiliar with the details of ObamaCare.
The second problem is that the people who are familiar with ObamaCare
still don't like it. This explains the most recent push to promote
ObamaCare, which feels cheap and forced. Obama appeared on “Between Two
Ferns” in an attempt to appeal to younger Americans, but felt beneath
the dignity of the office he holds. Now the administration is playing
off the March Madness basketball tournament by coming up with
“16 Sweetest Reasons to Get Covered”
under ObamaCare. Despite the clever sales pitch, ObamaCare isn't
living up to its initial promises. We know one pitch that was a
complete lie: If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your
healthcare plan. If people still aren't going to get coverage and
prices are skyrocketing, why are we still moving forward with ObamaCare?

Venezuela Falls Apart under Socialism - Cratic3947 Look
at those lines for basics like toilet paper, reminds me of pictures
from the old soviet union. The weird part is the socialists got
re-elected. Argentina is also experiencing inflation and shortage all
under the guise of soaking the rich. Basically, Socialism fails anytime
it's tried and on any scale. The hallmark is that socialists don't seem
to be able to learn from not just the past, but from their present.
