Mid-Term Election Tone Changes
Whether or not Democrats would like to admit it, the special election of Republican David Jolly in Florida has changed the tone of the mid-term election discussion.  Former press secretary Robert Gibbs recently said that the Senate is absolutely in doubt for the Democrats.  He told “Meet the Press,” ”If you lose the Senate, turn out the lights because the party is over.”  When asked if the Senate is in danger, he responded, “Definitely.  Absolutely … there's no doubt.” Why is the Senate in doubt?  Well you could argue that it's not so much that the GOP is doing a great job but that the Democrats are failing.  This failure is happening on three main fronts: Obama's floundering popularity, the poor economy and ObamaCare. In the vacuum of Democrat weakness, the Republicans have a real opportunity here to offer bold solutions for America.  The GOP finds itself in the position of winning this election in November if they don't blow it.  RNC Chairman Reince Preibus believes that "we're in for a tsunami-type election in 2014."  For the sake of our country's future, I hope that's true.  The problem is that Republicans have shown that they are completely capable of blowing it.  The other thing they need to keep in mind is that a lot can happen between now and November, so Republicans best not get cocky and get working.

Big Break or Dead Lead?
An operation led by Australia could provide the biggest break yet in the mystery disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.  Satellite images show two objects floating in the Southern Indian Ocean.  The debris is sizable enough to be from the missing jet. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to do what I can to solve the mystery of the Malaysia Airlines flight and Hannity.com will continue to bring the latest news on this story!

Putin More Popular Than Obama
We're at the point where Vladimir Putin's approval rating is 30 points higher than Barack Obama's among their respective populations.  Despite every effort to focus on income inequality, the minimum wage, climate change and other liberal policies, Obama is being weighed down by three glaring failures: ObamaCare, his foreign policy and the economic recovery.  Some have referred to Obama as "toxic" for Democrats seeks re-election.  I've pointed out before how Democrats, particularly red state Democrats, will hide or flee if the president makes a visit to their state.  He no longer carries the political mojo he once did, and this spells trouble for the Democrats.  Once able to generate massive turnout for speeches and elections, Obama's appeal is fading. Even James Carville acknowledges that if the election were held today, "it wouldn't be hard to argue that the Democrats might have a bad, perhaps even awful, election ahead of them."  But he's pulling for some "political climate change" between now and November.  I'm not certain there is enough time for the change necessary for his Democrats to pull this one out.  But I do know that Republicans have a lot of opportunities in front of them, and they best not squander the favorable political hand they've been dealt.

Today's "Hot Topic" From the Hannity Forums: RIP Tea Party - Posted by Fava
The demise of the Tea Party brought about by manipulation of the IRS by both Republican and Democratic Parties, in the words of Mark Twain, have been greatly exaggerated. Republican Scott Wagner is presumed to have won a write-in campaign to defeat party nominee Ron Miller for an open seat in the state Senate, Pa. Is it time to start worrying when a write in candidate starts bucking the machine?
