Diana Paris, 46, from Berlin, Germany was killed due to a malfunctioning parachute while joining more than 220 others in a free-fall over Eloy Thursday, according to the Eloy cops and Skydive Arizona.

The first reports out of Fort Hood about the shooter, Ivan Lopez, were about how this was not a terrorist act. But of course it was. A gun in the hand of a disturbed man, one he uses on innocent people before he uses it on himself, is always an act of terrorism in the end.

A desk clerk at St. Petersburg's Peterborough Apartments said he sincerely believed the body was an April Fools' joke, possibly left by kids the night before, when he reportedly heaved it in the trash Wednesday.
