Tax Day
It's Tax Day. While it is never a fun day for millions of Americans
filing income taxes, it is particularly difficult amidst this IRS
targeting scandal. We, as Americans, deserve to know that our laws and
rules are being applied fairly and justly and that some of us aren't
being targeted by the government for our political beliefs.
That being said, our tax system is appalling. It is overly-complicated
and burdensome, it is highly progressive and punishes success.

Outrageous: Steve Israel
We have another Democrat pulling the race card, again. It's become the
Left's favorite tactic and it's been used particularly frequently over
the last few weeks.
The latest example is Democratic Rep. Steve Israel, who is the chairman
of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Israel told CNN's Candy Crowley, "To a significant extent, the Republican base does have elements that are animated by racism. That's unfortunate."
To a significant extent? Glad to know that this is how Democrats view
the Republican Party, as being motivated "to a significant extent" by
racism; not by policies of smaller government or lower taxes but by skin
color. This is what liberals think about you.
When questioned whether his Republican colleagues in Congress are racist, Israel replied, "Not all of them, no. Of course not."
Not all of them? Then which ones, Mr. Israel? Just because his
Republican colleagues may not agree with him on issues like, in this
case, immigration does not mean that they are motivated by race, nor
does that make them racists.
I'm sick and tired of Democrats playing this BS race card. We've seen it
