Americans Leave Labor Force
On the heels of the report that our economy grew a paltry 0.1% last quarter, we get the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. On its surface it looks good, but there is more than meets the eye.

In April 2014, 288,000 jobs were created, leading our unemployment rate to fall to 6.3%. If you listen, read or watch the liberal media, that's where the story would end. But you and I know that there's more to these reports, which is far more telling about the truth nature of our economic vitality.

For example, the U6 rate, which many believe to be the more accurate measure of unemployment, is 12.3% in April. This measures employment, as well as those marginally attached to the labor force and those looking for full-time work but stuck working part-time in the meantime.

But the biggest headline within the report is this: the main reason why the unemployment rate dropped in April was because 806,000 people left the labor force! In fact, according to CNSNews, an all-time record high number of Americans were not in the labor force in April: 92.6 million people!

The labor force participation rate dropped to 62.8% from 63.2% just the month before, which is a 36-year low! In other words...(continued)

The latest revelations related to Benghazi have brought out an ugly side in a lot of liberals who are clinging to their defense of the administration, in the face of cold, hard facts.

We now know that the White House played a role in crafting the infamous Benghazi talking points, stating that the "goal" was "to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy." This matters because the American people and the families of the four victims in Benghazi have been lied to about the true nature of the attack. They lied for political purposes and they continue to defend this lie, even as the facts emerge to the public. It's sickening...(continued)
