GOP Midterm Vision
The midterm elections are less
than 70 days away. In order to get voters to the polls, where's the
GOP's vision for America's future?
There's no doubt that conservative principles work. Just take a look at what is happening on the state level. Even The New York Times recently wrote,
“Californians have moved to Colorado and Nevada. Massachusetts natives
have moved to New Hampshire. New Yorkers have moved to North Carolina
and Virginia — and, of course, have continued moving to Florida. Over
the last few decades, residents of many traditionally liberal states
have moved to states that were once more conservative.”
The problem is that liberals
move to these conservative states and bring their liberal ideals with
them, thereby changing the essence of what made those states so
attractive to being with: low taxes, lower regulations, more job
opportunities.
So the tides are shifting and things won't be as black-and-white in upcoming elections as perhaps they used to be.
This is why a GOP vision for America is more important than ever.
I've articulated my ideas for
the GOP, but I'm not kidding myself in assuming that the GOP would pick
up and run with them. However, at least they can serve as a framework
for our listeners to help guide their elected officials into adopting
