Terror in Sydney
Sydney, Australia found itself paralyzed by the antics of a radical Islamic man who held people hostage in a cafe for the better part of a day.
We are coming to learn more details of the terrorist responsible for this hostage situation in Australia.
Man Haron Monis, also known as Sheik Haron, is a known Iranian refugee, a self-proclaimed "spiritual healer," with a long wrap sheet.
- He was recently charged with at least 40 allegations of indecent and sexual assault.
- He's been charged in an accessory to the murder of his ex-wife “who was stabbed and set alight in a Sydney apartment block,” according to news reports
- He's also been found guilty of sending offensive hate mail to the family of Australian soldiers who have been killed while serving their country.
Additionally, his website allegedly shows horrific images of children killed by airstrikes conducted by U.S. and Australian forces.  He also recorded his own messages to the Muslim community and Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott.
Hostages being held by Monis were forced to hold up a flag containing an Islamic declaration of faith - “There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger” - in the window of the cafe in which they were being held.
His demands were for an ISIS flag to be delivered to the cafe, that his message of allegiance to ISIS be nationally broadcasted and to speak to Prime Minister Abbott.  These were made to negotiators using social media.
Despite his demands for the ISIS flag and his declaration to be broadcasted, and despite his history, there remained a reluctance on the part of law enforcement and politicians to identify a motivation and determine whether this is a terrorism-related event.  Really?
Experts such as those cited in the Wall Street Journal say that this is likely the act of a “lone-wolf” compared to an organized terror group.  Either way, the point of “terrorism” is to use violence and intimidation in order to pursue a political purpose.  Even if this hostage taker isn't part of a terrorist group, he certainly wants to become a part of one (ISIS).  Not to mention the fact that an ISIS spokesperson called on Muslims in Australia to carry out “lone-wolf” attacks on citizens.
In an ominous warning, former CIA Director Mike Morrell told CBS this morning that the United States would see an attack on the homeland “sometime over the next year or so, guaranteed.”  He said, “What concerns me the most is we’re going see this kind of terrorism around the world and we’re going to see it here.  “We need to be prepared for that. You know, it shouldn’t surprise people when this happens here sometime over the next year or so, guaranteed.”
Is the United States prepared for such an attack?

Cop Stories Obama and Sharpton Don't Want You to Hear
This weekend, while NYC demonstrators were chanting: "What do we want? Dead cops," in protest of the cases of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, I took the time to make a list of police stories that Obama and Sharpton want you to ignore. These stories don't fit their narrative of police officers being racist and oppressive; but rather represent the compassionate side of our nation's law enforcement officers.

To our police officers: thank you for your service and sacrifices. They have not gone unnoticed here at the Hannity Show. Read these stories here (Part 1 of 2)
