Clinton "Clarification"
This week, House Speaker John Boehner is expected to announce an investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails during her time as Secretary of State. Liberal defenders are already jumping on the investigation as a politically motivated stunt.
Over the weekend, Hillary's team made a pretty significant "clarification" about her use of a personal email account and server.
Apparently Hillary's team read every single one of her emails and
determined which ones were private and therefore deleted. Her team
admitted that over 31,000 emails were determined to be "personal" and
have been destroyed.
Those that were deemed to be "work-related" by her own staff were supposedly turned over to the State Department.
How exactly did her team determine which emails were private and which
ones were official government business and therefore public record?
Well apparently that is up to her lawyers to decide.
As if her team has given us any reason to trust them. |

No Reason For Trust
Much of Washington, Clinton included, has lost all benefit of the doubt
from the American people. We have absolutely no reason to trust
Hillary's team in its judgement on this issue because they've given us
so many reasons not to.
Polling on the email scandal shows that 54% of Americans believe her use
of personal email as Secretary of State is a serious problem. This
coincides with her declining popularity
numbers: "The poll found Hillary at 44 percent approval and 45 percent
disapproval. Her lowest approval rating since 2014, according to
Huffington Post, has been 43 percent."
As Jonah Goldberg points out in his latest column,
"If you want to know what Hillary Clinton would be like as president,
you're seeing it right now. There is no other Hillary. This is her."
And for Hillary, emails are but just one reason why she can't be trusted
and why she would make a terrible candidate. Democrats, start your
engines ... |
