Hillary and the War on Women
According to an analysis by the Washington Free Beacon, Hillary Clinton's campaign has "consistently paid its female staffers less than it has paid males."
The report says the median salary of a female Clinton staffer was found to be far smaller than their male counterparts.
In fact, "when projected to reflect annual salary figures, it was calculated that the median annual salary for a woman would be about $7,000 less than the median male salary."
Well, at least these women are getting paid better than the women who worked for Hillary's Senate office. The Free Beacon pointed out that from 2002 and 2008 the median salary for a woman in Hillary's office was more than $15,000 less than the median salary for a man.
And yet it's the Republicans who are waging a "war on women," right?
Ohio - The Predictor of Presidents
The 2000 Presidential election reminded voters just how important the state of Florida is on the road to the White House. Florida, and its 29 electoral votes, remains the focus of both parties because it's very much in play. Last election, President Obama won with just under 1% support over former Governor Mitt Romney. Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is using this to his advantage as he jockeys for position in the GOP nominee race.
While there's no doubt that Florida is important but it's Ohio that has the attention of many of the candidates. Ohio voters have correctly chosen the President in every election except two since 1904! It was Ohio in 2004 that brought George W. Bush back to the White House and it remains a battleground state. This is a message not lost on Ohio Governor John Kasich, who has gained traction after announcing his candidacy just weeks ago. While everyone remembers the hanging chads, legal court battles and recounts that came from Florida, Ohio has long been the predictor of presidents.
