Brooklyn man slashed by ranting man in Midtown

On Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 1647 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at East 55 Street and Madison Avenue. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim, a 30-year-old man, who had been slashed in the back of his head by an unknown black male who had fled the scene. The victim was transported to Roosevelt Hospital where he was treated and released. Subsequent to a video canvass, Detective were able to retrieve surveillance video of the suspect. That video is attached and available at DCPI. Cops are searching for the suspect, described as an emotionally-disturbed man.
