Here's Why Polls That Have Trump Up In Iowa Might Be Totally Wrong
With
six days to go until the Iowa caucuses, the latest polls have Donald
Trump surging to a lead in the Hawkeye state over his closest competitor
Ted Cruz. A recently released Fox News poll shows Trump with 34% of the
vote, an 11-point lead over Ted Cruz, who is supported by 23% of
Iowans.

However, at least one analyst is calling into question the results of
recent polls. Talkshow host Steve Deace, who has correctly predicted the
outcome of practically every meaningful election in Iowa since 2008,
believes that, in fact, Ted Cruz is more likely the Iowa frontrunner
than Donald Trump.
Deace explains that just as polls in previous years had failed to
predict the winners (Mitt Romney was supposed to win Iowa in 2008, for
example), analysts are making the same error this year. According to
Deace, just as in previous years, pollsters are failing to take into
account the power of ground-level organization, which are just as
important as the raw numbers of public opinion polls. |

constitution had been written for a "moral and religious people" and was
"wholly inadequate for any other."
"I just looked at Cruz and he stood out in my mind as being a moral and
religious man," Phil said to Sean. "I thought to myself, 'good enough
for me.' It's about that simple on my part." His son Willie, on the
other hand, is looking for something a bit different...(continue reading) |
