Here's Why Polls That Have Trump Up In Iowa Might Be Totally Wrong With six days to go until the Iowa caucuses, the latest polls have Donald Trump surging to a lead in the Hawkeye state over his closest competitor Ted Cruz. A recently released Fox News poll shows Trump with 34% of the vote, an 11-point lead over Ted Cruz, who is supported by 23% of Iowans.

However, at least one analyst is calling into question the results of recent polls. Talkshow host Steve Deace, who has correctly predicted the outcome of practically every meaningful election in Iowa since 2008, believes that, in fact, Ted Cruz is more likely the Iowa frontrunner than Donald Trump.

Deace explains that just as polls in previous years had failed to predict the winners (Mitt Romney was supposed to win Iowa in 2008, for example), analysts are making the same error this year. According to Deace, just as in previous years, pollsters are failing to take into account the power of ground-level organization, which are just as important as the raw numbers of public opinion polls.

Recently Willie Robertson announced that he would be supporting Donald Trump for president while his father Phil has thrown his weight behind the candidacy of Ted Cruz.

The two men joined Hannity to explain their endorsements.

For Phil, it comes down to the words of the founders, that the constitution had been written for a "moral and religious people" and was "wholly inadequate for any other."
