Cops search for knife-wielding attacker who tried to rape woman, 29, in lobby of Brooklyn apartment

The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance in locating and identifying the following individual in connection with an attempted rape of a woman in the lobby of her apartment building late Saturday March 12, 2016 on 50th St. in Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York. Authorities describe the man as 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, with light skin and a slim build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. A knife-wielding attacker held a knife to a woman’s neck as he tried to rape her in the lobby of her Brooklyn apartment building, cops said.
