The Results From All Of Last Night's 'Little Tuesday' Primaries
Billionaire
Donald J. Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz both had a good showing in
the contests many have dubbed 'Little Tuesday'. Trump took three states
including the largest prize of the night which was Mississippi. Ted Cruz
emerged victorious in Idaho and surprised many with a second place
showing in Michigan. Trump secured 63 delegates, while Ted Cruz and Ohio
Governor John Kasich took home 48 and 17 delegates respectively.
It was a disappointing night for Florida Senator Marco Rubio who failed to secure a single delegate in any of the four contests.
Here are the results from Tuesday's contests
The next important date on the primary calendar is Tuesday, March 16th,
where voters will head to the polls in 5 states, including the important
winner-take-all states of Florida and Ohio. Florida and Ohio are
largely considered make-or-break for the campaigns of Senator Marco
Rubio and Governor John Kasich, and both are trailing in the polls to
frontrunner Donald Trump.

Chuck Norris Announces His Choice For The GOP Presidential Nomination
It's
been a day of endorsements. First, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina
announced her support for Tex Cruz. Then Donald Trump picked up support from Hollywood icon Jon Voight.
Now, it looks like 80's action star and martial arts legend Chuck
Norris will be hitting the stump for his candidate of choice: Texas
Senator Ted Cruz.
The Hill is reporting that Norris will join Cruz on the campaign trail
in North Carolina. Voters in that state will head to the polls on March
15th to decide which candidates will take its 79 delegates to the GOP
convention.
Before joining the Cruz Crew, Norris had voiced support for former
Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, while in 2012 the action star threw his
support behind former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. |
