Ted Cruz Names His Running Mate
Earlier
today Texas Senator Ted Cruz told reporters that he would be making a
major announcement at 4pm today. According to a report by Reuters,
Senator Cruz will be announcing his running mate: former HP CEO Carly
Fiorina.
Reuters reports:
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is expected to announce
former business executive Carly Fiorina will be his vice presidential
running mate if he wins the party's nomination, ABC News affiliate WMUR
reported, citing unnamed sources.
Cruz earlier on Wednesday said he would make a major announcement at 4
p.m. on Wednesday but gave no other details. Fiorina endorsed Cruz for

The Latest GOP Delegate Totals
Donald
Trump expanded his delegate lead by sweeping Tuesday's five
northeastern primaries. Trump's wide margin of victory guaranteed him
all or large majorities of the delegates in each state, although
Pennsylvania's delegate breakdown has still yet-to-be determined.
As of writing, Texas Senator Ted Cruz has only earned three delegates
from last night's contests, while Ohio Governor John Kasich has earned
five.
The next primary is on May third in the state of Indiana. Fifty seven
delegates will be at stake in the Hoosier State. According to the Real Clear Politics polling average, Donald Trump has currently enjoys a six-point lead over his closest rival Ted Cruz in Indiana.
