Georgia man guns down five people and sets house on fire to cover crime: cops

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says all five victims found dead in a Colquitt County house fire were murdered prior to the blaze. Crews were called to the fire around 8:30 Sunday morning at a home at 505 Rossman Dairy Road, outside Moultrie. Jonathon Edwards,21, Alicia Norman, 20, Reid Williams, 21, Jones Pidcock, 21, and Jordan Croft, 22, were all shot before the fire broke out. The GBI arrested Jeffrey Alan Peacock, 25, on Wednesday. A Southwest Georgia man fatally shot four men and one woman then set a house on fire to try to conceal the killings, police said Thursday.

Teen accused in deadly Bronx stabbing claims it was self-defense

SUSPECT ALBERTO AQUINO (aka Alberto Aquino-Simon) IS PICTURED. On Saturday, May 7, 2016, at approximately 2313 hours, police responded to a call of 2 males stabbed in front of 363 East 151 Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx. Upon arrival officers discovered a 26 year-old male with a stab wound to the torso, and 30 year-old male with a stab wound to the abdomen. EMS also responded and transported both males to Lincoln Hospital, where the 26 year-old was pronounced deceased and the 30 year-old is in critical condition. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. A teen accused of fatally stabbing one man and wounding another in a Bronx melee acted in self-defense, his lawyer said.
