Trump Responds To 'Thugs' Who Caused Chaos At New Mexico Event
Donald
Trump's campaign rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, turned into a scene
of chaos on Tuesday. Left-wing agitators clashed with police, throwing
bottles and rocks at officers. The protesters also lashed out at rally
attendants, going so far as to assault a Trump supporter in a
wheelchair.
Trump took to Twitter to respond to the protesters, who he characterized as "thugs" and "criminals."
In addition to throwing rocks and bottles at police, agitators smashed
the glass doors at the Albuquerque Convention Center where the rally was
being held, lit fires, and loudly chanted "f*** Trump" according to one
CNN report.
