Gingrich Explains Trump's 'Best Single Moment Of The Entire Debate' Newt Gingrich had some high praise for Donald Trump's performance during Monday's presidential debate. Appearing on Monday's "Hannity", the former Speaker of the House praised Trump's restraint in response to Hillary Clinton's barrage of attacks at the tail end of the 90 minute debate, accusing the GOP nominee of sexism against women.

"I can't do it. I just can't do it. 'It's inappropriate. It's just not nice," responded Trump, obviously alluding to husband Bill Clinton and his notorious dalliances, both in and out of the White House.

"He had the perfect opportunity to clobber her, and he looked over at Chelsea and thought 'No, I'm not going to do it,'" Gingrich said of Trump's unwillingness to "go there."
