Gov. Huckabee and Repeal It Now are Optimistic About America

Support President Reagan’s vision for our country
and optimism for our future...

Maybe it helps that Governor Huckabee grew up in a town named Hope and his optimistic nature can be contagious. Because we know that America’s best days are still ahead of it - not behind it.

Given the continuing drumbeat of bad news, irresponsible Federal policies and ineffectual political leadership, optimism might be hard to fathom. But it is easy to spread. We have weathered difficult times before and have always grown stronger as a nation because of it.
We agree with Ronald Reagan, who said: “I know that for America there will always be a bright dawn ahead.” As tough as things seems now, that bright dawn is fast approaching.

All it takes is supporting President Reagan’s vision for our country and optimism for our future. We must oppose those who peddle hope but deliver only despair. Americans are the most pessimistic they have ever been. Consumer confidence is at an all time low, having plummeted from 59.2% to 44.5% in just one month - its lowest level since May of 1980.  Back then, Ronald Reagan was able to restore the nation’s confidence by reminding us of all that was right with America and offer a clear-eyed alternative to the politics of negativity, stagnation and despair that his opponents specialized in.
With unemployment still hovering over 9%, broken policies like Obamacare hogtying entrepreneurship and growth in the private sector, and more and more of our lives being run from Washington, it can be hard to remember that what makes America great is not our government, but our people. America as a nation always finds a way to bounce back from such difficult times once its citizens have decided that they have had enough.

We again have such a choice to make. Do we want to relegate America to being a second-class country because of excessive government regulation, weak leadership and broken policies? Or do we want to restore America to its full potential and ensure that its future is even brighter than its past? We are hopeful that like us, you opt for the second option and know that we, as Americans, will make the right choice. Another one of our favorite Ronald Reagan quotes is, “Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music.” Next election, it’s time for America to start playing a different tune.
Sincerely,

The Leadership Team at RepealItNow.org
