The gadget, called Wristify, has the ability to change a persons temperature by several degrees and can work at a rate of 0.4 degrees a second. Students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found a 0.1 degree a second change in temperature of one part of the body makes the entire body feel several degrees warmer or cooler. This would then help to save on energy bills as increasing the temperature of a large building by one degree can use up around 100kWh a month.
