Environmentalists Versus the Energy Boom
Last night Senate Democrats decided to use their time and energy to
promote ... climate change. In what is being described as an all-night
"talkathon," Democrats are pushing an issue that they have no intention
of actually doing anything about legislatively.
So what was the point? Some people think it is to distract from issues
like ObamaCare. It also allowed Democrats the time to sound off on their
new favorite boogieman: the Koch brothers
and GOP "dark money." There is a concerted effort on the part of Harry
Reid and others to make Americans believe that the Koch brothers are
buying elections. Meanwhile what he won't tell you is how much money
Democrats such as himself receive in "dark money" from labor unions,
which is much much more than people like the Koch brothers.
If they can't use the IRS to stifle conservatives, they will simply try and publicly shame them into silence.
It's also important to note that red state Democrats who will have tough
re-elections did not appear at last night's talkathon. They are staying
far away from liberally-charged issues such as this.
Imagine if liberals took this time and energy and actually focused it on
something productive: like jobs and growing our economy. There's a
no-brainer way to kickstart things, and that is to open up and explore
our vast energy resources here in the United States. But liberals will
let their ideology of climate change trump real, tangible solutions that
could provide energy, jobs and help bolster our foreign policy
strength.
Have you heard the latest way that the Obama administration is
attempting to block oil and gas development? This is from the Wall
Street Journal...(continued) |

Outrageous! Nancy Pelosi
Nancy Pelosi is no stranger to hyperbole and dumb statements, but her latest one is a doozie.
She claimed at the 2014 California Democrats State Convention that a
Republican "friend" told her that poor, hungry children are "invisible"
to the GOP and the Republican Caucus is "indifferent" to their plight.
Breitbart has the quote:
"I asked a Republican friend why his party remains so opposed to
extending the vital lifelines for struggling families and really hungry
children. This colleague response was telling in its blunt nature and
it's stunning in its honestly, what he said was to the Republican caucus
these people you are talking about, are invisible, and the republican
caucus is indifferent to them."
Add this to the list of ridiculous statements from liberals like Nancy
Pelosi. They've also claimed that Republicans support dirty air and
water, that they want to throw granny off a cliff and they want kids
with autism to fend for themselves.
Liberals have made a habit of making up absurd claims about
conservatives without a shred of proof to backup their outrageous
claims.
