Insanity at our Borders
Thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrant children have been pouring into the United States. The government is sending many of them to Arizona, where they are being processed. Needless to say, this is causing a crisis at our borders as agents are overwhelmed and having difficulty dealing with the volume.

According to Customs and Border Protection, as cited in USA Today, 47,000 "unaccompanied minors" have been apprehended at the border with Mexico over the last eight months. They estimate that as many as 90,000 will cross into the United States this year, most of them from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. They expect another 140,000 next year.

They are being housed at facilities in Arizona and military bases have opened up to take in more children. The federal government will be providing them with lawyers "to protect the rights of the most vulnerable members of our society. How we treat those in need - particularly young people who are fleeing violence, persecution, abuse or trafficking - goes to the core of who we are as a nation," according to Eric Holder . The administration is also asking for over half a billion to help deal with the border crossings, and another report says the administration wants $2 billion to help support Health and Human Services facilities...continued
  
Trashing our Soliders
The outcry over the nature of Bowe Bergdahl's capture has spiraled into a concerted attack against those who dared to speak the truth, particularly soldiers in Bergdahl's platoon. Many, including the administration, are questioning the veracity of statements made by the very troops who knew him best and risked their lives to find Bergdahl.

Here are a few examples of liberals taking to trashing our soldiers by creating doubt about their stories.

Fox News reporter Lucas Tomlinson asked State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf about Bergdahl's alleged desertion. When Tomlinson brought up the fact that Bergdahl's "squad mates have the best indication what happened that night," Harf replied, "I don't think that that's the case." So if the guys who knew him best and risked their lives to find him don't know what happened, who does?...continued
