LI teen stabbed 19-year-old at football game: cops

Kamal Williams, 17, of Melville, was arrested on October 17 and charged with Assault and Menacing 2nd Degree. He stabbed a 19-year-old Dix Hills man at Half Hollow Hills HS East last night at 7:19 p.m. after the two just left a football game. The altercation was over a prior dispute. The victim was transported to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 17-YEAR-OLD Long Island boy stabbed a fellow teen following a high school football game, cops said Saturday.

On Friday, October 17, 2014, at 1540 hours, Police Officers Joshua Rivera (PICTURED) and Juan Rodriguez, assigned to the New York City Police Department's Transit Canine Unit, were on patrol in Union Square when a passerby alerted them to an unconscious male at the corner of East 15 Street and Union Square West. The officers ran over to the corner where they saw the male unconscious, not breathing and having no pulse. Officer Rivera immediately began CPR on the 60-year-old male while Officer Rodriguez went downstairs to Transit District 4 and retrieved a Department issued Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Officer Rivera continued to perform CPR, to no avail, until Officer Rodriguez returned with the AED. The officers then activated the AED on the male. With the first two attempts being unsuccessful, the officers activated the AED a third time which proved successful in resuscitating the male. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the male, conscious and alert, to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Police Officers Joshua Rivera and Juan Rodriguez, who were assigned to the NYPD’s Transit Canine Unit, were patrolling with their four-legged partners Friday afternoon when someone ran up to them about a man.
