Tipping Point Today,
Obama is meeting with Gulf state leaders at Camp David. But tensions
over Obama's potential nuclear deal with Iran has regional leaders, and
the world, on edge.
Perhaps the most notable absence at Obama's summit is the new king of Saudi Arabia. He is not the only leader to ditch Obama.
This is a huge, unprecedented slap in the face for Obama.
Some of these nations may not be perfect allies, but Obama has managed
to alienate more allies during his presidency, leaving America seemingly
friendless.
In 2008, Obama promised peace and tranquility in the Middle East; He was
uniquely qualified to achieve this because of his background. Remember
that? My how the times have changed.
Obama's leading from behind strategy has made America and the world less
stable. His willingness to court dictators and scold our friends is
causing America to lose allies, or at least their trust.
Everything predicted by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of our
ally Israel, is now coming true. Obama's obsession with this nuclear
deal has potentially sparked an arms race in the region. New alliances
are shaping up as a result of Obama's willingness to acquiescence to
Iranian demands on their nuclear capabilities. It's hard to blame Iran's
neighbors for their trepidation.
The irony of Obama's promises compared to the reality we are seeing
unfold cannot be lost. This is a dangerous issue that is shaping up to
potentially historical. If you care about your kids and your grandkids,
you will care about what is happening right now in the Middle East
because if history repeats itself, they are in for a terribly tough road
that trances right back to Obama and this moment in time. |

Stephanopoulos Apologies
It turns out that ABC News' George Stephanopoulos donated tens of thousands of dollars to the Clinton Foundation and failed to disclose this fact.
Stephanopoulos apologized to viewers this morning, admitting that he
donated $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation between 2013 and 2014.
Stephanopoulos recently interviewed Peter Schweizer, the author of
"Clinton Cash," which exposes questionable payments to the Clinton
Foundation, but he failed to disclose his donations as a possible
conflict of interest.
He calls this an honest mistake. Stephanopoulos, as you will recall, used to work for Bill Clinton. |
