Iran Withholding $43 Billion In Restitution to U.S Terror Victims
The Washington Free Beacon reported today
that "Iran is refusing to pay more than $43 billion in court judgments
issued to U.S. victims of the Islamic Republic's terror operations..."
This news begs the question: Is anyone REALLY surprised by this?
Senator Mark Kirk told the Free Beacon that Iranian-linked terrorists
have killed more Americans than ISIS. Over the past several decades,
"Iranian-backed terrorist groups have killed more than 700 Americans,
including at least 290 in Lebanon..."
Historically, Iran has proven they cannot be trusted...they lie about
their nuclear facilities, they sponsor terrorism and wish death to both
America and Israel.
Their refusal to comply with this U.S. court order is yet another example of why the Iran deal must be stopped. |

Who's Ahead in Georgia?
While the 2016 presidential primary candidates remain entirely focused
on the early primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire, polling is
beginning to appear from some other early states. Senator Ted Cruz and
former Governor Mike Huckabee have taken a detour to Georgia. Both Cruz
and Huckabee remain active in the early states but their trips to
Georgia can be viewed as an opportunity to grow their popularity in that
important state. So far, their efforts have been mediocre.
So, who is leading in Georgia? As you probably could've guessed, Donald
Trump enjoys a double-digit lead according to the latest Landmark Communications poll.
Senator Cruz is polling 5th in the field right now, barely ahead of
former Governor Jeb Bush. Huckabee is trailing 7 spots behind Mr.
Trump.
As is the case nationwide, Mr. Trump continues to lead
and Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush are
all trying to play catchup. The rest of the field has found themselves
on the outside looking in. Keeping a close eye on Georgia will be
important because it's one of the states whose polling will either
encourage or discourage candidates from keeping their campaigns alive. |
