Breaking: Guess Who's About To Jump Into The Race
According to media reports on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden is making
plans to jump into the race for president and could make his
announcement as early as this week.
This afternoon Fox News White House Correspondent Ed Henry tweeted,
“Three sources close to @VP telling me he’s expected to announce he is
running but the sources are all urging caution on 48-hr timeline.”
But not everyone is convinced Biden is ready to take the
plunge. Washington reporter Jamie Dupree threw some cold water on the
rumors on Monday’s Sean Hannity Radio Show, questioning the timing of
the announcement.

“I sort of find it hard to believe he’s going to make an announcement
this week—in the next 48 hours—since this week will be dominated so
much by Hillary Clinton and her appearance before the Benghazi
committee.”
“Maybe that’s the reason why,” Sean interjected. “Maybe in light of
the fact that that’s coming up, it’s not going to be a very good week
for Hillary.”
“I don’t know,” Dupree responded. “I wouldn’t want anything getting
in the way of my announcement, especially something that, in a sense for
some Democrats, could be an advertisement for her fighting with
Republicans about Benghazi and her emails." |

Rubio: Time To 'Turn The Page' On Jeb Bush
Governor Jeb Bush’s campaign seems to have set its sights on Senator
Marco Rubio over the past several days. The tussle began when Bush's
communication director Tim Miller accused the Rubio campaign of "lying" about
how much cash they had on hand according to their FEC filings. Recently
Jeb also raised doubts about Rubio’s ability to lead, comparing has
lack of experience to that of Senator Barack Obama in 2008. In
addition, Jeb's 31-year old son and surrogate, Jeb Bush Jr., criticized Rubio
for missing "35% of his votes" in the U.S. Senate while campaigning.
Asked to respond to the Bush campaign's aggressive posture, Senator Rubio initially demurred.
“It’s not going to change how I feel about Governor Bush,” Rubio
responded on Friday’s Sean Hannity Radio Show. “I like him, I respect
him, I thought he was a good governor.”
Despite his initial reluctance to engage...(continue reading) |
