French Police Raid 3 Mosque...Guess What They Found
As
America discusses how to proceed in its fight against radical Islam,
French authorities have been shutting down and conducting raids on a
number of Mosques around Paris in response to last month's terrorist
attack.
According to Agence France-Presse, French police found "'7.62mm
ammunition for a Kalashnikov rifle and propaganda videos' for ISIS" at
one mosque in the suburbs of Paris.
Authorities added that:
A total of 22 travel bans and nine house arrests for "radicalized
individuals" have been issued as a result of the operation. Police also
found recordings of religious chants "glorifying the martyrs of jihad
linked to the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra", the Syrian branch
of al-Qaeda[.]
The mosque is the third to be raided and shut down since the terror attack that took the lives of 130 people.
According to France's Interior minister Bernard Cazaneuve, French
authorities have conducted 2,235 searches, arresting 263 and seizing 334
weapons, including 34 military-grade weapons since the Paris attacks. |

Muslim Leader Praises Trump Plan
Donald
Trump continues to receive criticism from both sides of the political
aisle for his plan to temporarily suspend Muslims from entering the
United States. However, Trump is now receiving support from an unusual
source: members of the Islamic community.
Imam Nidal Alsayyed of The Islamic Center of Triplex in Texas says he supports Trump's plan.
WATCH: Imam Nidal Allayed answer Trump's critics
"It's clearly kind of an overreaction by many American Muslims to Mr.
Trump's statement," Nidal said on Hannity. "The truth is that he
definitely has concerns about some security, some safety, some peace
that is happening due to Muslims or Islam being associated with many of
these radical terror groups and people that are popping up in the
country or different countries from time to time."
"I would assume any kind of safety, security measure to basically hold
on, make us understand what is really going on, I would really consider
it a very wise move," the Imam added.
Imam Alsayyed went on to say that foreign born Muslims coming to the
United States, and the west more broadly, have to understand that the
laws for conduct are different than they are in their countries of
origin.
"One of the challenges that we face here is that most Muslims don't
understand there is Sharia law, or as we refer to it Islamic law, that
is pertaining to living in the United States, meaning that the Sharia
law you learned in your country is not the same Sharia law you will have
to behave with or behave with in this country." |
